Reproductive System In Men

As the body receives huge amounts of steroids from exogenous sources, the production of endogenous hormones is drastically reduced. This leads to atrophy of the testicles, the gland that produces androgenic steroids, namely testosterone (Note: the word testosterone is derived from the Latin word testes are testes). In long-term use appears macroscopic atrophy, commonly if ever get to see the "esoteric" points of the body of a user will notice something is wrong! Laboratory measurements show that sperm production is reduced which can lead to infertility in a few months after the start of the year. The reversal of infertility needs at least 4-5 months long (> 6 months) use, although there are reports of infertility until 2 years after discontinuation of anabolic steroids. Something else that may cause embarrassment to the male users of anabolic steroids is gynecomastia. The gynecomastia is the individual cosmetic complications after breast grows and its shape resembles the female. Many athletes try to cope with gynecomastia inhibiting estrogen receptors like tamoxifen, used primarily in the treatment of breast cancer (Life is difficult for some athletes).
