The 15 th festival has run successfully and with the presence of all parties, as it should be and the greater glory of ballet itself. The stellar Cuban couple consisting of two dancers was exceptional and very different: Xiomara Reyes, prima ballerina of American Ballet Theatre and Rolando Sarabia, currently leading figure in the Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami and recognized international star. Xiomara Reyes is the only Cuban in addition to Alicia Alonso, who has consolidated the place of principal dancer at ABT, unquestionable merit and should be highlighted properly. Reyes is a dancer safe, harmonious, mature, stylish and with a vertical seriousness in his career. I remember when he made his first "Coppelia" with the Ballet of Flanders in Belgium. Already suggested ways and saw in it the germ of the solid star he is today. Xiomara Reyes danced in Miami and, most recently traveled to Havana as a Principal Dancer of the ABT.
